The Yarra Valley is an Australian wine region located east of Melbourne, Victoria. It is a cool climate region that is best known for producing Chardonnay, sparkling wine and Pinot noir. The Yarra Valley follows the meandering Yarra River. Starting from the upper reaches above Warburton down to the wide valley through Healesville Yarra Flats past Yarra Glen the offer to Eltham. The gateway to the Yarra Valley could be considered Lilydale with the entrance being Coldstream.
